Official says Russian Machines wants to quit Aviakor

MOSCOW, Apr 19 (PRIME) -- Russian Machines, owned by businessman Oleg Deripaska, is considering selling its jet producing unit Aviakor, Industry and Trade Minister of the Samara Region Mikhail Zhdanov said at a meeting of the committee of the Federation Council for defense and security on Friday.

“The main owner is considering the issue of the future fate of this enterprise and of quitting this asset altogether,” Zhdanov said, adding that a scenario of retargeting of Aviakor is also being considered.
